ere I've built a big network over time. Now, in the new location (and while getting older, haha) creating a network from scratch is quite an endeavor! One day I saw After 5's ad on Instagram, the offer seemed very clear and simple, so I gave it a try and didn’t regret afterwards.
How was your experience? / What did you love about it?
After 5 has a very attractive and thoughtful way of creating the space for like-minded women to build connections. I enjoyed their style of match-making and email tips on how to maintain meaningful and fun conversations during live meetings. I liked the diversity of locations and meeting formats, as well as the top-notch member experience at all steps.
What does female friendship mean to you?
It means a lot. Many women can build new social connections in a unique and unforced way (“we're in a new country and have common interests, let's go grab a coffee") However, finding new friends becomes way harder as our environments narrow down or life stages change as our interests evolve. I believe as women we should be a support mechanism for each other because the need for sharing experiences is still there. And doing that in a group or community can be easier and very pleasant!
