Hey Sasha! Nice to connect with you! What have you been up to recently?
Having recently started a new role at a cybersecurity company in the Critical National Infrastructure industry, I’m currently focused on settling into the team and learning as much as I can about the industry. Outside of work, I love traveling and I run a blog sharing insights and experiences for other travellers in the 25-35 age group. I also enjoy the outdoors, inspired in part by my adventurous sister, and I’m always up for a good hike or exploring new places. Even if it is just a cute new coffee spot or delicious bakery.
Why did you decide to prioritize friendship right now?
I joined After5 because I love connecting with like-minded people and expanding my network beyond my usual circles. I’m always looking for fresh perspectives and opportunities to grow—both personally and professionally. Why now? I believe in stepping out of my comfort zone and trying new things, and this felt like the perfect time to do just that! Plus, having a strong community of supportive, inspiring women is always a bonus.
How was it like connecting with other like-minded women you’ve just met?
Meeting other like-minded women at After5 was such a refreshing and inspiring experience! It’s always amazing to be in a space where everyone is supportive, driven, and open to new connections. The energy in the room was uplifting, and I left feeling motivated and excited to be part of this community.

What does female friendship mean to you?
To me, female friendship means strength, support, and a sense of belonging. It’s about having a circle of women who uplift, inspire, and challenge each other to grow. Whether it’s celebrating successes, navigating challenges, or just sharing laughter over a coffee, these connections bring so much meaning to life.
