Born and raised in Alaska, and now based in London, Brynn’s journey through friendship, creativity, and community has crossed multiple cities — and it all began with an After5 Table in Amsterdam.
Arriving in Amsterdam with No One to Call
When Brynn moved to Amsterdam in 2024, she didn’t know a single person.
“I realised very quickly that if I didn’t get out of the house, I could spend way too much time alone.”
Working for herself added to the social challenge — a familiar experience for many remote or creative professionals. That’s when she discovered After5.
Finding Her Footing Through Community
After5 became Brynn’s gentle anchor: a way to find connection in a city that was entirely new.
“After5 helped me get my feet on the ground socially. The women I met were so ambitious, open, and warm.”
Even after relocating back to London, she stayed in the community — a testament to the depth of connections she found.
From A Table to Wedding Day
One of Brynn’s favourite stories is also one of her most personal.
“One of the women I met at an After5 Table ended up being a bridesmaid at my wedding this November.”
It’s the kind of friendship outcome that perfectly captures what After5 makes possible:
strangers becoming friends, friends becoming chosen family.
A Pottery Class, A Sweet Connection
Another cherished memory: Two friends she met at separate After5 Tables joined her for a pottery class. Brynn introduced them, and a three-way friendship formed naturally.
“We all live in different countries now, but we still stay in touch. That’s the magic of intentional friendship.”
What She Wants to Create This Year
Brynn has been writing quietly for years — but this year, she’s stepping into visibility.
“I’ve always been ‘too busy’ to post. Really, I think I was scared. But fear isn’t a good enough reason anymore.”
She plans to launch her Substack as a space for thoughtful storytelling and creativity.
A Sunday Done Right
Her ideal Sunday is as cozy as it is grounding: a lie-in, homemade breakfast, plenty of coffee, a long walk, knitting, and watching football.
Soft, steady rituals — the kind that make life feel full.
Why She Became an After5 Connection Curator
For Brynn, becoming an Connection Curator wasn’t about a title — it was about giving back.
“It’s hard making friends as an adult. If I can help someone find what I found, that means everything to me.”
Her role is shaped by gratitude, intention, and a desire to help other women experience the same magic of connection.
A Friendship Story That Crossed Cities and Life Chapters
From Alaska to Amsterdam to London… from strangers at a dinner table to a bridesmaid at a wedding… Brynn’s story is a beautiful example of what happens when women choose connection.
